Baisaō Teapot

A glass teapot with an integrated steel strainer, made for loose leaf, made for every day. Good tea usually waits for a free afternoon: the right pot, the separate strainer, the timing, the cleanup. So on a full day you reach for the bag, and the leaf you love stays in the cupboard. We built this for the other days. The glass stays out of the tea's way, so the brew tastes like the leaf and nothing else. A fine perforated steel ring is built into the shoulder, so the strainer is never a separate piece to find or wash. The faceted body lets you watch the steep in the margins of whatever you're already doing. Currently in development.
