A stoneware pouring vessel for matcha, in development. We kept reaching for two vessels to make one cup of matcha. A bowl to whisk in, then something else to pour from. So we set out to collapse that into a single object: a katakuchi, the lipped pouring bowl, made for matcha specifically. Whisk straight in the bowl, pour clean from the lip, done. A work in progress.
